Organic lenses treatments

Hardcoat - HC Hardcoat is applied as a layer only on organic lenses, having the function of making organic lens more resistant to surface damage (scratching and similar) and at the same time retaining all vital characteristics of organic lenses (reduced weight, less observable etc). After the hardcoat layer, MC layer can be applied.

Hard multicoat - HMC

HC and MC layers make HMC layer (only for organic lenses). This layer provides lenses with complete protection from mechanical damage and best possible conditions for quality vision. MC on organic lenses contains all elements as before mentioned MC layer on mineral lenses. It has green reflection.
The application of MC layer is especially recommended for materials with increased index of refraction and for photosensitive organic materials (Transitions and Sunsensors). Antireflection layer on photosensitive organic lenses enables the leveling of transparency of these lenses, in inactive state, that is, in working conditions in closed space, with suitable white lenses. At the same time, they retain 100% protection from UV rays that exist in offices (neon lights, computer screens, etc).


SatinCoat is multilayer, antireflection treatment with superior hydrophobic performaces. The lenses with SatinCoat will give you the feeling of smooth, compact surface and good protection of impurity and greasy debris. In the foggy circumstances, the humidity will disappear soon from lens surface, taking away also dust particles.


ERP layer is applied on organic lenses and provide the user with maximum comfort while working on computer, and during all office tasks done in neon light conditions.
After this treatment, BCR, HC and HMC treatments are also possible.

Organic lenses are tinted (except for photochromatic lenses) in any shade of a span of modern tints, except for CR 1.6 and impact which is tinted up to 60%. Polycarbonate cannot be tinted at all. Tinted lenses give better eye protection from sun rays both in visible and UV spectrum. After the tinting process, HC or MC layer, i.e. HMC layer can be applied on organic lenses. A new lens can be produced according to a sample.

Mineral lenses treatment

Multicoat - MC

MC is a multilayered anitreflex containing adhesive, definite number of antireflection and hydrophobic layers. Adhesive layer provides good adherence of multilayered anti-reflective to lens surface. Antireflection layers reduce losses due to reflection below 0.8% from the total amount of incoming light. Hydrophobic layer prevents sticking of impurities which are more noticed on antireflection lenses than on untreated lenses and facilitates their cleaning. Blurred state, caused by unfavourable atmospheric conditions, vanishes from these lenses in a very short period of time.
It has green reflection.

Metallization - MZ

Tinting of mineral lenses is carried out in three tints: grey (tints: 25%, 50%, 75%), brown (in three shades: 25%, 50%, 75%) and G-15 (grey-green), as well as gradient grey/brown from 50% to 0%.
These lenses protect eyes from visible sunrays and have a higher protection from UV rays, in comparison to non-tinted lenses, in proportion to dimming percentage.
